It's day three here on Route 66 and we had such an incredible morning at City Museum in St. Louis, I decided to dedicate an entire post to it. Housed in the former International Shoe building, this museum made out of repurposed architectural and industrial objects is part fun house, part surreal pavilion, part architectural marvel - a playground for all ages. It reminds me of Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, without the chocolate.  Head to the rooftop first to enjoy the ferris wheel and the incredible view. Then, ride the 10-story slide all the way down to ground-level where you can explore caves, climb through obstacle courses and view various exhibits. This amazing place has won international awards as a must-see destination and I highly recommend you go. When in St. Louis…:)
