Made the quick 1.5 hour drive north from Los Angeles to Ojai, a scenic little town in Ventura County, to explore the Ojai Farmers Market where locals and visitors gather weekly to socialize, shop and taste the region’s locally-grown organic bounty, including the famous Pixie Tangerine. This place is incredible – likely the best market I’ve been to yet in SoCal – and my bag was stuffed with all the yummy goodness a girl could want – avocados, tomatoes, Ojai olive oil, gourmet popcorn, fresh herbs…you get the picture. We strolled along the main drag, Ojai Avenue, basking in its quirky sensibility and perusing funky boutiques, a wine tasting room and even a pop-up shop. Fig Curated Living, whose whimsical entrance draws you into a space where garden décor and carefully curated lifestyle products co-exist, was my favorite discovery of the day! We ended the afternoon with a special treat – a late lunch at the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, a luxury resort known for its dramatic views, award-winning spa and golf, and fine dining. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday!
