All I've heard from locals is how I need to get my butt downtown and experience the amazing things happening there. Not only is the area rich in historical significance, it is in the midst of a major renaissance, with city-loving hipsters moving in and L.A.'s hottest new restaurants, bars and shops opening up. So, this past weekend I decided to spend an afternoon wandering around Grand Central Market, embarking on a historical walking tour courtesy of Downtown LA Walking Tours, dining at Toronto institution, Terroni (I mean, how could I resist) and finishing at the creme de la creme, the sinfully decadent Bottega Louie. I am officially in love with DTLA!
