Whew, what a long day! Woke up to a flat tire in Tulsa and had to get Betsy towed to a VW dealership. Got off to a later start than hoped but feeling blessed that this happened at the hotel and not on the freeway. Once on the road again, we drove to Bricktown, a cool neighbourhood in Oklahoma City, for a southern-style lunch at Jazmo'z Bourbon Street Cafe. Making our way across the Texas Panhandle, we stumbled upon a few sights, including the totally deserted VW Beetle Ranch in Conway, the leaning water tower and 19-story cross in Groom and Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo. A 12-hour drive later, we arrived in New Mexico, the land of enchantment, and said buenas noches.

ENJOY!
